I am an experienced NZ trained physiotherapist with extensive post graduate training, recreation, & sport experience.

In December 2013 I graduated with a Post Graduate Diploma in Sport & Exercise Medicine from the University of Otago. Continuing professional development & training is vital to the success of this business.

25 years of experience has been gained since graduating with a Degree in Physiotherapy from Otago University. Prior to this I completed a Degree in Physical Education.

Participation in a wide variety of recreation & sporting disciplines, frequently to an advanced level, has helped me to achieve a sound understanding of the dynamics of many sport & recreational pursuits, as well as the fundamentals of movement. Honours awards in ballet; age group gold medalist in competitive gymnastics; secondary schools national tournament volleyball representative; competitive soccer & field hockey participation; recreational participation in snow skiing, waterskiing, mountain biking, & windsurfing ; as well as participation in varied multisport events including Coast to Coast, Gold Rush, and Challenge Wanaka Half Ironman, are all experiences I draw on to help clients achieve personal goals. Employment in fitness centres as a resistance training instructor as well as instructing group fitness classes has also contributed to my extensive knowledge.

Continued active participation is an important part of my lifestyle. I have completed 4 Challenge Wanaka Half Triathlons (half iron-distance event). I have also completed Queenstown half marathons on more than one occasion, along with The Abel Tasman Trail run, and Routeburn Rage. All have been completed for great enjoyment!

Giving back to the community is important. My contribution has been as a Volunteer Coach for Queenstown Swimming Club for 8 years. In addition I have been Physiotherapist for PeeWee & Midget level Southern Junior Ice Hockey Players at various local, national, and international tournaments. In March 2014 I travelled to Slovakia & Bulgaria with the NZ U18 Mens Ice Hockey Team for the World Champs (Div3), as the Assistant Team Manager & Physio. In 2018 I travelled to Malaysia with NZ U18 Womens Ice Hockey team as the Team Physio, whilst in 2019 I travelled with the same team to Abu Dhabi. I have also been physiotherapist for the Phoenix Dunedin Thunder Ice Hockey Team in 2020 & 2021 during their NZIHL season.

I have worked with children, disadvantaged youth, recreational athletes, elite athletes, and the elderly. Such experience gives me unique insight into understanding the needs of clients who require a well structured preventative or rehabilitative programme.

I am also a mother to two university students.
